If you’re a Canadian home owner, then chances are you want something to shield your car from the ridiculous weather we get.

Any Canadian can appreciate how terrible it is to wake up early for work only to find that your car is buried under a foot of snow that you have to dig out.

Well I’ve found an eco friendly solution that’s also made in Canada :). The answer to your problems is a steel carport from Future Buildings.

These carports are made almost entirely from recycled steel and use less material to produce than a standard garage. If you don’t require storage from a garage then this is likely the best option for you.

The steel for these garages is produced in Hamilton and a carport kit is then manufactured in their factory in Brampton so you know it’s an eco-canadian product!

I love my country and a big part of what makes Canada, Canada is the amount of nature and wildlife that we have. While other countries are packing people in to less and less space, we’ve got millions of untouched acres.

The problem is that these untouched gems are being damaged by pollution, and it can’t continue. Up here, most of what we hear about is environmental damage being done in the US because their media has such a strong presence.

To counteract this lack of attention I’m going to blog about Canadian things, environmental products, businesses and other things to help give us canucks a boost!
